Research on News Sharing. A Proposal of bibliometric analysis

This study seeks to establish whether news sharing in social media is a mature field of research by using bibliometrics as tool. The Web Science database was searched for articles that contained the term ‘news sharing’ titles, keywords, and abstracts. A total 133 obtained, which enabled us address question there are well-established journals authors cover subject. results show certain ambiguity, could explain why chosen subject matter often studied fields outside Communication Studies; however, while studies on conducted researchers from heterogeneous fields, this has not translated into greater interdisciplinarity.
